Dove season is going to open up soon here in arizona , anyone else dove hunt?

I hunt doves but our season doesn't open until september 1st

Season doesnt open till september 1st here either. But, we're always out there opening day. About three years ago it was nothin to go shoot a limit in an hour at one place, but the last year or two its been kinda slow till late in the season. 'course, normally we have a big cold front the week before season and a lot of the birds get pushed out.

Yea our season opens around the first of sep.... And i love it the dove hunting is usally slow but when they come in they COME IN. But i can hardly wait.

Our season starts on Sept 1. All the birds disapear by August 20 though. There honestly is not a bird to be seen!

When you cab't hunt dove you can allways go for quail.

I have heard of your town before Lamb. As for the doves out here, i haven't seen that much but that's summer for you. I don't know how well the season is going to be this year, it wasn't too bad last year but lot of hunters were complaining about around here though. I didn't do too bad myself so i couldn't complain. I don't know if i'm going to go opening day because the place is always really crowded and i might have to work that day so hard to say. I like dove hunting but hunting quail is more of an challenge.
