Hi Ya'll
I used to be a regular here, but I can't think of my old s/n and passwords, so thsi is the new me! lol
I was curious if anybody rides bulls here. I just started and its AWSOME! the biggest rush in the world!
I also have horses, show goats, show chickens, and of course, hunting and fishing!

ive been wanting to ride bulls for a while but we dont have n e cows( n e more) and i dont really know a place where i can go to get started... i live in San Antonio Texas...my parents dont really care if i do it or not cuz my mom thinks its safer doing that than all the stuff i do right now for fun...lol

only tried it once... my butt still hurts lol i have 15 horses and barrel race 2 of them and the 4 others are hunter/ jumpers... i also have two potbellied pigs, two nubian goats, and a black angus bull named timothy who is the biggest mush you'd ever meet

lol....it ain't as bad as ppl think, I've only done it once but my bro does it a lot and he never has been hurt bad. You just gotta be tough! lol
It sounds liek we have a lot of livestock ppl here! Thats awsome. Huntingirl, do u do barrels in competition or just for fun? Thats an awsome sport, but around here its strictly for girls! lol

I have ridden bulls for 7 years.. I have ridden in a ton of rodeos... Every year I'm all over the place riding.. I have even got some friends that are in the PBR.. Mike Collins I picked him up at the airport for the raleigh pbr event last year.. We drove 2 hours to some bars and hung out at the arena the next day... I met Cody and JW Hart and Adriano... Its a great sport but a rough one.. I have seen a ton of people get messed up really good...

You just started out so you probably haven't gotten on anything super rank yet.. Just you wait..... I have gotten on a few pbr class bulls... A huge difference from the local arena bulls and pro bulls...

No offense to anyone who does it but I think its one of the craziest if not dumbest things in the world :D I just cant see gettin on a PO'ed bull and trying to hang on for 8 seconds[8D] I watched that movie 8 seconds [:o]

Any rare heritage breeds? Im currently raising 8 bourbon reds ranging from 4-6 weeks old, tame little buggars. They have a nasty habit of trying to eat my ciggerretts though.

I wanna ride. I have been goin to and watchin rodeo on TV ever since I was 4, Im 17 now. I am dating a girl now that is into rodeo. She has some horses she runs in some local rodeos in the barrel racing. She went to the PBR when it came to Columbus and somehow got around and was lookin at the bulls and got kicked in the leg by Little Yellow Jacket:) She was proud of that bruise:D
Anyway, she has some buddies that ride so Ive been talkin to her about takin me to talk to them, she has a bull rope so she is lookin into ridin as well:)

I know there is HUGE difference in teh PBR bulls! good god they are RANK! I'm just starting at a local rodeo to get practice, but I hope to ride semi-pro someday. NChuntinfever, do u have any good tips? I'd love to hear them. I wish I had been ridng for 7 years, I feel like I'm too old at 17, but I will just have a blast with it anyway. It is really rough, I've been there when they took a guy in a helecoptor out of the arena. But I figure, I'll die someday so why live like I've got something to worry about? lol

Hey im 17 now and a junior when i head to college next year it will be to blue mountain college were i will be on there bull riding team for college rodeo ive been riding for about 6 years now. i also love the sport of wrestling but my scholarships didnt go through
