I traded my cavalier off on a 2003 GMC sonoma. Its an extended cab so i still have alot of storage place. I wanted a truck because i am constantly moving stuff back and forth from university and having to haul home farm parts and cattle feed etc. I went with a smaller truck because obviously it was cheaper but also for fuel economy. This truck has a V6 in it and seems to get better milage than the 4 banger i had in that cavalier. It is a 2 wheel drive and is pretty gutless in snow but I usually take out my dad's truck when the snow starts to fall. I would expect you would be happy with a truck but i would suggest not going after anything that will guzzle gas. Especially with the way fuel prices are now. Its one thing to buy the truck but another thing to have to fuel it up all the time. I am keping this truck until I am finished university and then looking at a full size once i can afford it. Hope u find one that fitts your budget.

I got a 94' GMC Sierra X-cab its great i couldn't live without a truck and since its and extended cab i can fit more people in there than in my moms SUV. trucks are definetly better!
