Allseason,

I noticed that you said you were looking for a place in California, or at least considering it, but my question is why? lol Seriously if you decide to come here to live. I suggest up in Northern part because its very much nicer up there and the hunting/fishing is great.

Got back last night yall. I ended up takin a boar that weighed around 250 pounds. The worst part was that i climbed up to the top of the ridge that runs through the property, with no roads for a mile either way, and thats where i got him at. lol. I got on top, him and 6 others that all wieghed close to 150 pounds came in and he gave me a 46 yard shot. The first arrow dropped him in his tracks, but i put 2 more in him over a 45 minute period and he finally died. 4 hours later i got him off the ridge with the help from a buddie. Everyone in my group took a pig, all over 100 pounds. I had a BLAST, but its good to be back.

Good job on your kill and the others' kills as well. Its tough to get close to any pig out here because its all in the open. I think if it comes down to it, i'll have to play 'snake in grass' (crawling) and hope the pig doesn't decide to walk away :D
