Default Deer Hunting

Do you deer hunt in the moutains or in the plains? I my self went with my dad when i was like 6. I would like to go get one. I dont know where is best. It have only hunted big game once. That was when I went Elk hunting last January. I would proubaly take my bow or my grandpa's muzzle loader. Do you have any suggestions for where I should go. Its between the moutains and the plains.[&:]

mountains all the way. its more of a challenge in my opinion but then again the 200 yard plus shots on the plains cuz its so flat.... might be a challenge.

never hunted in mountains or plains. i hunt in river bottoms and thick woods. if you are hunting with a bow or muzzleloader you should hunt the mountians though because plains call for long shots.

Always in the mountains. Not too many plains out here that been known for good odds of deer being out there.
