What animal is a 270 designed to hunt for ?I am a 8 year old who has killed 3 deer so far .I go hunting with my DAD and my papa .

the .270 isn't really specifically designed for any set animal. By varying the bullet type and grain the .270 works great on yotes, deer, elk, bear, and moose....I personally don't own one but my buddy uses one and he has had real good success with his. 8 years old and killed 3 deer already wow when did u start hunting?

The .270 is 'designed' for just about any North American big game animal. The animals can range from anything as small as a Coyote to a large Alaskan Moose.

I own a Remington Model 700 .270 and I absolutely love it.

They're an all around gun, like the last two people have said. Great caliber of gun. Almost bought one, but went with the 30-06 instead. I dont think you'll be disapointed with a .270 though.

why should you have to be 12? I know kids that are 10 that have the maturity level of a 12 year old. What about the age 12 makes it the magic number when everybody should be trusted? I killed several deer before I was 12, they didnt seem to know the difference

It was pretty much designed to be one mean lean deer killin machine, but can take down alot of other things!

thanks i try to do my best.[;) Iwas four when I started following my Dad and Papa around .And I was 6 when I killed my first deer ;a button buck .I will be posting my pictures soon to show you my deer that I have killed.The picture will be of a buck I killed this year .Bye

You could kill a moose if you hit in the right spot.A moose or lower.

with the right bullet you can kill anything from groundhogs to moose i use mine for deer and coyotes
