Dog training books

Can any of you dog owners out there recommend any goo dbooks on teaching your dog to hunt coons?

It would depend on the training you are talking about. If its just the basic commands, any type is good i would think. I bought some books at Barns and Nobles that was just basic but it was good. On the advance trainning that would be more difficult to say.

I just really want to teach my dog the basics, like how to just chase a coon and tree it. I guess from there, we'll get more advanced. thanks for your reply!

You will proubally want to get some hunting toys at a pet store. Then buy blanks for your gun. ( shell with powder but no bullet )
