Bear trap catches teen
 

This is a short article in the outdoor life mag. I thought it was pretty funny :D

When it comes to rural hijinks, cow tipping is hard to beat. But give credit to one apparently restive 17-year-old from the town of Canmore, Alberta, who decided to give bear trap vandalism a try. To his chagrin, however, he learned that the culvert bear traps tjat je amd a second underage pal allegedly were attempting to vandalize work just as well as they do on nuisance grizzlies. In the wee hours of a Monday morning last summer the boy triggered the trap amd was unable to get free. He spent three hours ensnared before police were called to the scene to spring him from the makeshift holding pen, according to the Edmonton Sun.

He had it coming if he was messing up someone else's stuff. I would get pretty mad if a person was messing with my stuff. I would beat the tar out of a kid like that. But it was still funny.:D Too bad it wasn't one of those traps with the jaws on it.:)

Yeah i was thinking the same thing as you younggun, he is lucky a bear didnt come along when he was trapped in there. I'm sure he would have been safe inside but who knows, bears can be smart enough to get those things open. at least one would hope not :D

oh well... you live you learn and sometimes it comes with a little bruising and a trip to the hospital lol
