i would recommend a scope for that extra little bit of accuracy but its your choice

Never know when ur going to be shooting at squirrels and the leaves are still on the trees, the scope could make the difrence in finding the game and going home without. Plus a scope will help with those longer headshot ranges.

Scopes would be better for longer shots, espeically up in trees (assuming the shot is safe to take). For closer shots and/or targets in an open field. An open sight would be best. Actually i think you should learn how to shoot open sight first then try a scope. That is how i learned. Good luck

a scope would be good for a longer shot if its standing still, but i would go with open sights if your going to go after rabbits or anything else that will be running. its alot easier to find them that way.

I use open sights and my dad shot dozens of squrrils with it, but I would use open sights Because what if you had a scope and you shot the squrril and a branch is in the way that branch is going to knock the bullet off and you mite miss it. so my point is I would use open sights if I was in the woods. But in the field is a wole new story.

little bow man, wouldnt the tree branch interfere with the bullet anyway?scope or no scope?,if it hits a tree with a scope then it will deflect it and if it hits a tree branch with open sights it will deflect it, will it not?
