Favorite thing to Hunt
Im just curious of what most people like to hunt and why. I' ve hunted dove, turkey, Deer hogs, and Quail. Out of them quail is my favorite because they fly out of where they are hiding in a hurry. I was wondering what were some of the things people liked to hunt the best.

RE: Favorite thing to Hunt
i have to go with elk. hunted them for 8 years now and nothin else makes me shiver like that when a bull is right beside you and lets out a bugle. its a great feeling and i' m hooked on it. also a lot more challenging for me than a whitetail. i have to think a lot more and take a few more factors into consideration.

RE: Favorite thing to Hunt
I' ve never been elk hunting but am planning to take a trip with my dad next season. He shot a 6X6 and though I love elk, thats all we ate for about 6 months.(lol) He' s told me about the bulls bugleing right next to him and laying on a mountain stalking heards of them and hearing bugles. My favorite is quail. Relaxed you can talk all you want then the birds fly out goin about 90 to nothin. I also like deer and being dead quite, drawing, reading a comicbook, reading a book, or writing down what I' ve seen if i' m in a blind, or if im out in the open the anticipation of this big 130+ coming out of the brush. I like that alot.
