How far do u practice?
 

How far out do u shoot your firearms and bows for practice and hunting?
My new bow i just shoot at 30 practicing but will take deer that far.
My 270wsm ill shoot out to 200 when practicing, need to get it to the range.
my 17 hummer ill shoot out to 50 with my weak scope practicing
How often do u guys shoot, before and during the season? Ive been shooting my bow for a while now and im confident with it.

I practice with my rifle at 300 yards when I can find a range that far. Mostly, it' s 200 yards.

Before I got the " panic" , I regularly practiced at 60 yards with my bow. Made everything inside 40 yards seem like a piece of cake.

Rifle up to 400 yards

Bow up to 60 yards... { but I will not ever shoot one that far away}

I try to shoot my bow every day, from 10 out to about 40 yards on regular practice. I may go out sometimes and practice real long shots, but thats rare. Rifles i dont shoot much, i only practice out to about 150 yards. Ill shoot that far, but not past because i dont shoot that often and im not comfortable past that. Bow, ill shoot out to 40 no problem. Rifles, thats another story, i coulndt hit water if i was sittin in a boat with one. Thats just me though.

i shoot my rifle just about every other day anywhere from 150-250 yrds, im comfortable with anything out to 400 past that its a lil sketchy on what to do,i dont bow hunt, i want to get into that but i dont as of right now

Young-gun its adictive! I was shooting today and my arrows kept hitting low at 20 yards, i figured id take a few shots at 30 and i was dead on. Kinda goofy to hit bulls eye every time at 30 but not group so well at 20, perhaps a lose pen?

I practice out to only 20 yards w/ my bow because that' s as far as shots get. Before the season I practice every chance I get but when season starts, I rarely practice because all of my free time I spend in my stand.

I practice my dad' s 270 at 100 yards and my bow at 20 yards.

200-400 yds. Rifle sight in (Depends on what hunting. Javelina = 500 yds.)
40-50 yds. Bow (Only pulling 63 lbs.)
40 yds. 1250 fps Pellet gun ;)

dont hunt with a rifle. with my bow i practice out to 100 yards but wont shoot anything that far. i shoot about everyday with my shot gun a usually shoot trap a couple times a month during the summer to keep practiced up
