Slaying brown backs

In the state of Michigan through the concrete jungle and over and under the manny over grown forgotten trails of the old timers there lay a stream. And if you are lucky to find sutch a place on a dry day you may come across a father and his son spin fishing catching some blue gill and brown back bass.

The water had a dark tint to it As I threw my first cast and right off the bat a huge blue gill clamped it's jaws shut on my white Meps spinner. "As I was reeling my line in I asked my dad where did you find this spot he replied saying that uncle Jason shown him the spot years ago" I just looked down threw the fish in the water and made another cast as I reeled my one in half way and off to my left a pike snapped My dads line on his ultra light. I smiled as he cursed at that fish with his fist in the air that he would some day get his revenge. Next thing I know I got a full size brown back bass on my line I almost had him and then he jumped and threw the hook right back at me as he got off the hook. it nearly missed my eye then it was me cursing the day that fish was born in the end we cought about 20 or more and headed back home for steak and potatos
