Just got my first bow!
 

Got a nice new Martin Cheetah and I can't wait to use it! No deer is safe now!

I've shot a couple deer with a bow...it's a huge rush to be so close. Practice a bunch, and I feel that concentrating on your trigger pull and follow through are the most important parts to keep you from throwing your shot off. Have fun.

my cousin used to shoot a cheetah he loved it! good luck! oh let me add a little tip that helped me. just focus on one little hair that you want to hit. as for practice focus in on a hole from a previous shot or a tread if its a bag target

Congrats, i remember when i got my first bow, it was for my 15 birthday, little different though, its a crossbow(please no negative comments from the x-bow non believers)
