Major no-no

I didnt hear about this until just awhile ago from one of my friends who i work with. Some time last night there was a guy who got busted for a near date-rape. Happy to say one of our guys the couple in the car. This actually happened to be about a month ago. I just got off my shift (i worked 4-12) and the same friend who told me about what happen last night. came to relieve me (he works the 12-6 shift) and it was a thursday so nothing happens much there at night, so we thought. I stayed there for about 15 minutes talking to him until he was ready to start his routes. Sometimes to help him out i' ll take my own car and drive around to see if any cars are parked in the back and/or near houses. Sure enough there was this one car parked in the back. I caught up with my friend and told him about the car. He went and found the car (we drive in the dark area without headlights on). I did the same just behind him and rolled down my window. Him and I both heard a girl scream " no!" followed my a scream of terror. He was freaking out and i told him ' if you call for backup, they wont get here in time; I am here so lets do something about this." So him and i stuck up on the car (can' t remember what kind but i think it was honda) him being on the passenger side and me on the driver side (keep in mind i am the only armed patrol officer who can carry at this account) and we both went into both side of the car at the same time; really glad the doors unlock and we both could see the guy on top of the girl(i could see clearly that he didn' t have a gun or knife on him) he (friend) grapped her and pulled as i did the same to the guy, i literally yanked him out of the car and onto the ground, putting a wrist lock on him (I took self defense classes). I wasn' t suppose to be there so my friend called up for backup and i showed him how to do that wrist lock. He applied it to the suspect (keep in mind my friend is close to 300 lbs) and waited until backup came. I had to leave before they go there (I left only 6 minutes before another guy and the PD showed up) The suspect was arrested and charged for felnoy attempted rape. and sexual assault on a minor; the girl was 16 and he was 21. I am glad that him and I were there in time to save that girl. There are very sick people out there and i am glad that we got to get at least one of the street.
