its that time again!
Ok... Its due time for our semi-annual "Song Thread." This thread will probably only be for those of you who are very intouch with your instrumental side... sorry but this doesn't necesserily cover hip-hop/rap. We'll save that thread for later in the year.
Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains came out with new albums today. Being true and humble fan that I am, I picked them up. I spent a good few hours today learning most of the songs on the "Black Gives Way to Blue" album. This album is definitely in my top 5 list. Anyway, this thread won't be about individual songs, but rather this thread will be about your top five lead singers and guitarists. These are some of my favorites, but definitely not all. Lead Singers: 1. Layne Stanley: Alice in Chains 2. Brad Paisley 3. James Hetfield: Metallica 4. Gregg Allman: Allman Brothers Band 5. Jimi Hendrix: The Jimi Hendrix Experience (Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus deserve an honorable mention haha) Lead Guitarists: 1. Brad Paisley 2. Dimebag Darrel: Pantera/ Damageplan 3. Jimi Hendrix: The Jimi Hendrix Experience 4. Kirk Hammet: Metallica 5. Jimmy Page: Led Zepplin |
