well I have been scouting outmy land but I have only seen a few feathers and tracks but I dont have very many birds on my property. I was recently advised to not hunt them until they multiply a couple more years[:@]so I will rely on mossy11 to hunt on his land...hopefully.

Sounds good. I have one flock patterned pretty well, I know exactly where they will be mid morning and late afternoon in case I don't get one early in the morning, but I have five other places that havea lot of turkeys, I plan to hunt those hard also. Lately I've been scouting the area where I killed my biggest gobbler a few years ago, (11 inch beard, 1 1/2 inch spurs) This area has a lot of pines which have recently been burned off, just in time for turkey season. Gobblers love a fresh burn. Looks like this season is going to be a good one.

Hey guys I knocked down a double bearded jake to put some meat in the freezer over the weekend. Is there any point in entering him in the contest? We don't get points for jakes do we?
