To wrap up the YH deer hunting contest..
 

Great contest guys. Had a good time running it with Caleb. I was happy to see lots of success from my fellow youngens. I hope to see even more for next year's :D. Team 8 ended up winning it, congrats guys. Our top 3 points men were
1. Icetrey
2. Retaks
3. cubhunter

Our first deer entered was kelleno's doe on 9/18, and our last deer entered was Bocajnala's doe on 12/16.

So great job guys, remember to sign up for the YH turkey contest, if you're a turkey hunter and haven't already. I'm sure it will run as smooth as this one did, and I look forward to running it, and the next deer hunting one.

Congrats to everybody who participated, I hope tojoin you guysduring this year's contest. Although, I can't hunt whitetails, just mule deer... but I'm sure Rory and Caleb will work that out.

Man, I wish some other people lived back west, that way we could do a "Big Game" contest.... Elk maybe? lol...

No, not specific to whitetail but we could shoot mule deer, black tail, other species of deer but not elk...

And to Rory, and Caleb. Great job on the contest and congrats to everyone who put points on the board. Looking forward to next years.

I dont know if you have noticed yet but I believe there is some kind of big contest around the bowhunting forum I think.

next year we need to do a bowhunting one and a seperate gun hunting one JMO;)

I thought about suggesting that last year as well. But I think it is good the way we have it. It would be a hassel to split all that up. And it would really lower the numbers we have in the contest, altho I think this past year is the most we've ever had.

I think it worked out pretty good actually...with the obvious advantage to double buck states. We may have to work on that next year.
