I know you're a guy who can apprecitate some upland success.:D

I finally got the chance to go after some bobwhites and we ended up with 15 after about 2 1/2 hours. We really got in to the birds for a while.

holy smokes man. nice job! ive never hunted bob whites..we have none but i bet bustin up a covey of birds is some cool. nice lookin dog too btw. what gun/shot size and choke?

I have a Browning Citori O/U

Top barrell is Full
Bottom barrell is Modified
And I was using 7 1/2 shot

The dog isn't, mine it's my uncle's. The only reason I don't have a bird dog right now is cuz I live in an apartment and have no where to keep it[:@]. I can't wait till next year when I move into my own house and can pick out a beautiful brittany:). I love watching the dogs work almost as much as shootin the birds. I love watching her freeze like a statue, then it gets your heart racing when you let her flush 'em and they all fly up in your face.

I am going to the Kansas border next week to hunt some pheasants!!!

It is one awesome gun huh Kyle? Mine is especially close to my heart because it was given to me by my grandfather who was basically my hero. It has taken down thousands of quial before it was ever in my hands. He was the most hardcore upland hunter I have ever known. When the gun was given to me after he passed away last winter I almost broke down in front of all my family and friends.

Besides the fact that it cost over a grand to buy it off the shelf, the sentimental value runs as deep as my roots. You couldn't buy from me for a million dollars.:)

i have a pair of .32 specials that are like that will. my grandfather has shot hundreds of deer w/ it. only rifle he ever had since he was 11. all the blueing is worn off the reciever from many years of being carried through the woods. i bet that gun could tell a million stories. he also passed away. it was tough on us all but tough on my dad i think.[&:]
