This was aggrevating! (UPDATED) end of page one.
 

I was sitting in my tree stand for a couple hours today and I put some of that doe scent out and about 2 hours later this spike walks it and he's smelling around and then he looks back from where he came from. Then I heard something crunching so I looked back and there was a big 4x4 headed right my way! So I grabed my bow and cliped my release on the string. Pretty soon the buck is directely below me smelling around like the spike was. Then he started to walk off so I drew my bow back and he was at 8 yards! He was slightly quartering away so I put the top pin right where it needed to be and I shot! The release caught the string and it through the arrow off a lot! It went 4 inches infront of his neck! And then he ran off.

I would hate that too. I wonder if I could make a robot with a bow attached to it so I can use it as an anti-atv weapon.

Thats for sure! Theres one thing I can tell you guys! That release is going straight to the garbadge can. I wish I knew the brand of it so I could tell you guys not to buy it but I am pretty sure it was ALLENanyways it was a $10 release so if you see a cheap release with the brand of ALLEN DON"T BUY IT!!!!

I missed a nice tom today[:@] I switched releases first then headed out to my stand this morning. I was sitting there for about 1 hour and then I lookedaround and there was a flock of toms comming right my way so I reached for my bow but the turkey saw me right away so they turned and srarted heading up the hill. Then I saw an opening about 40 yards out so I drew back and waited... Pretty soon the turkey was about 10" from it so I shot! I woulda hit it perfect right in the wing bone but it ended up being 35 yards so I shot just over it taking off some of the feathers off of its back but there was no blood at all so it was a miss.
