If you go to africa to hunt you will not see any of your meat. But this does not mean it goes to waste. Most places you go to africa you tell them what you want to shoot, and then they have the meat sold before you get there! If you don' t shoot what they already sold then they just go out at night and shoot it with spotlights after you leave. So if you go to africa you are strictly trophy hunting. A lion would be a cool mount and thats what your looking for. But don' t get the wrong impression i would not want to go if they wasted the animal. The africans eat almost everything off the animals, even the stomachs!!! Besides even if you got the meat it would only last a year. But that cool lifesize lion mount attacking a zebra will be yours for the rest of your life. All of the people i know that have went to africa already have scheduled trips to go back.

AK, moose hunt with my 270 wsm. Or a sheep hunt anywhere with the same gun. elk would be a blast also, but some reason i realy wanna moose.

How about this a African style safari, but starting on the coast of Alaska for brown bear and sitka deer, moving into the interior for caribou, moose, black bear, musk ox, grizzly bear, then ending in the Alaska range hunting for dall sheep and Mt. Goats. I have no idea what this would cost or how long it would take, but it is a dream hunt.
