What have you always aspired to be?
As a career I would like to be a Mech. Engineer and design Bows.
And another one of my dreams would be to be an Olympic Archer. Now your turn. What have you always aspired to be/do? |
RE: What have you always aspired to be?

RE: What have you always aspired to be?
I always wanted to be so many things when I finally grew up so hard to say one particular thing. I guess I had the whole American dream: House, white fence, wife, kids, dogs, and lots of places to hunt (right now, have none of those but are a single dad).
I would have to say the single event that inspired me to change was back when I was about 15. I won't go until detail since its long story. Basically I got into real bad car accident (resulted me flying through windshield and broke arm, chipped elbow, few cuts and brusies). Before that happened, I use to be rather mean to people, thinking I was better then everyone else, just overall, butthead about it. No one at school really cared at the fact I was almost killed (not that i expected them to, minus few friends). So that inspired me to because the person I am today; nice and mellow :) |

RE: What have you always aspired to be?
Career wise, I want to be a WI DNR Game Warden. I'll try to be a nice guy, unlike the other wardens that are only there to give you tickets [:@] Maybe a small house, a dog, and that kind of stuff. For my retirement (which would be probably 50 years from now) I'd like a nice home on a lake, where I can relax and be plain Mark Wishall.

RE: What have you always aspired to be?
I've wanted to be several things. Like Redhawk I've had the whole American Dream thing too, husband, kids, house, land, etc. However, I don't know how likely any of those things will be. So I'll bury myself in work until life catches up with me.
I first wanted to be a DEC Officer, then wanted to be an Arson Investigator working with a K-9 partner. I haven't given up either of those dreams, but we'll see where the tide takes me. Things I have been: Class A Interior Firefighter, EMT-I,Vet Tech Ass't at a busy animal hospital, First Responder, Waitress, Bartender, Art Gallery Ass't Manager, Secretary and Landscaper laborer. OH! And a professional rider for a local stable, competed in dressage and trained horses, still train occasionally. I was also an assistant for a professor at my college during an archaeological dig following my field school. It was cool, but I don't think I want to be an archaeologist. I also moonlight cataloging human remains with another professor, which is what I thought I wanted to do, but I dunno. I have an appointment to take the NYS Parks Police exam on November 15th. So wish me luck. |
RE: What have you always aspired to be?

I been here for while and felt rather helpless when problem members came in here. I was here I think about 2-3 years and by that time, lot of the members, in which almost all no longer are in here for one reason or another, considered me as their big brother and I gave good advice as I could (HG89 and I are very very good friends and we both have been through alot and always been there for each other). So in short, the problem members helped me want to become HNI modator. I been doing it for about four years ago and I make sure I don't let the power of the poof pen go to my head, although I have had those moments lol. to the people who helped inspire me to become Mod :D |

But i would dress up in the living room in camo and run around with a bow with the sticky arrow and hunt the dogs as they came by.

There is a big difference working on animals compared to humans. You have to have a passion for one or the other, and if it just isn't there, then don't do it. Either way, good luck, but don't take the decision lightly. Try becoming a vet tech, thats only two years of school, or an LPN, which will give you some experience with people. |
RE: What have you always aspired to be?
atleast w/ being a vet if you can fix ol fido you can take him out behind the shed and say BANG
