From what i heard he doesn't want Green Bay to feel they HAVE to bring him back so it doesn't strap down the club.

He forgot about his once supportive fans... Sorry, I'm just really mad. First he says he done for good. A few weeks later, hes all "Ehh... Maybe I'll come back" Now, he wants to be on another team! He is the greatest QB. of all time, and he ups and leaves just like that.

According to ESPN, he lobbied with the Packers and wanted to come back, but the Packers said NO. Sim IMO, Ted Thompson is the one to hate, not Brett. |

Why not? The Packers wanted him back at first, he said no. Now he changed his mind, and they said no. Time is running out for Favre, im starting to doubt he will play anywhere ever again.

Probably misses the paychecks even more, but even if it doesn't ever play for another team, he is set money wise for life.

The latest news here in town is that he is has been accepted back to the team but.....no guarantees on a starting spot. I cant see them paying him all that cash to sit on the bench though. Either way, does not sound like they will release him. Boy people in town here are freaking out now!!
