i was born in a odd year so i have to wait still another week. i did take my little cousin yesterday as it was youth day here in maine and here what grinds my ass.

friday night me and my g/f went and located a pretty decent bird for sat morning. while i was doin this i saw a few vehicles goin by and slowin goin slow stopping listening (i reconized these vehicles as ppl i knew) they knew what i was doing out thereand knew that last year my familly killed three birds of 20 lbs and 2 @19lbs. anywyas long and short of it was me and my little cousin showed up at about 4:15am (this place is about 7 minute from my house) and there was a whole friggin heard of ppl walkin in on that tom i put to tree! i was rip ****. so we went back down the rd near where my parents live and decided to set up in a small pasture pine thicket that i knew they roosted around anywas and try our luck as it was too late to make another plan. at about five these ppl who cant call for **** evidently started calling and i could hear the bird up on the ridge to our left start shock gobbling, they obviously thought they were doin a good jhob cuz they kept at it and the bird is still in the tree mind you. anywyas, 6:15 he hit the ground and about 6:16 kawang! 22lb bird for some lucky little kid and his PUNK ASS DAD! grrr i wa smad but i didnt let it show to steven and set a bad example. i was able to get a jake that was hend up to come in a little later but he didnt want a jake. i thought that was pretty gooddisaplin for a 10 yr old

i should say that i know what they did wasnt illeagle or anything a they have a right to be there as much as anyone elsetsman but i do think it was cheap and unsportsman like and its that crap that is the reason we dont even deer hunt around here anymore
