RE: Team 1

ok, uhhh, how did you get your first bird?

mine was the last day of season and we were driveing off the mountain that we were hunting but stopping every hundred yards too call, about 50 yards pass the property line we called and got the first answer of the day. we figure hes about 150+yards away on a different mountain but we decide to give him a chance, we pull down to a spot we can turn around in and when we get to the spot where we can call there's a jake standing in the middle of the road, we get on to the property and my dad hits the call and the bird comes at a run, i am 25 yards closer to the bird then my dad is and the bird only has eyes for the one decoy we put out, i lett him get 20 yards away then boom, i got my first turkey

Got my first bird last year during youth season. It was 21 lbs and had a 10 1/2 in beard and 1 1/8 in spurs heres thi video that we got of it,Its not the best because the camera was just sitting in between me and my bro on a tripod with no one controlling it.

The bird ran at first cause my brother(cay4redneck) missed with his bow then i shot it as it was running back up the hill.

My first bird was a great one !! we had been runnin an gunnin after this one bird an well needless to say that didnt work out so we jus decided that we would go try to find some other birds an we walked to the top of a ridge an let out some crow calls an a bird hammered right back an he was close so my dad crawled out into the field with a hen decoy an crawled bac an we go set up an begin to do some soft calling an he hammered again he was on a string coming right to us an finally he poped up over this little hill about 55 yards away in full strut an i let him come to about 23 yards an then i let the benille do its job ! he had a 10 1/2 " beard an 1 " spurs
