Just bringing this back to the first page, this thread should pick up once our seasons start and we get out hunting.

Everyone should post a picture of their weapon they will be using this spring. I know, different species but the gun looks the same, believe me.

well team, im heading out tommorrow for opening day of turkey season and hopefully have a successful hunt!!!! Will inform you all on Sunday..... and ill be using my mossberg 535 12 gauge!!!:):):) Good Luck to You all

hey guys, i went out this morning and was SUCCESSFUL on my first ever turkey!!!!

it scored 70.375

15.6 lbs.
17.5 in beards (2 beards)
1 in. spurs

I went scouting this morning and didn't even see a bird. The birds are still flocked in their wintering patterns so it may be a few weeks before they are hanging around, preparing to mate. I can't wait for this picture!

hey i went out friday night and heard tons of birds so we set up friday night and i shot a big tom well we didnt find it so we startd calling a gain we a nother big one came in i shot and killed it it weighed 29.7 lbs 11 in beard and 1.5 spurrs it scored 81.4375 will get pic on here soon

thanks buckhunter, the beards look alot bigger now because they are dry, it was wet and rainy that morning and it made the beards look smaller!! they are very bushy and thick now that they are dry!!! im going again saturday to try and harvest my 2nd bird..... along with my dad (regualr season opens this weekend)

buckhunter, are you only taking the score of your biggest bird??? say i kill one saturday and it scored 60, it wouldnt count right???? your only taking the biggest birdscore that each person kills????

It is only the first bird that you kill I am pretty sure. So brag up your other birds, but they can't count towards the contest. My season doesn't even start for a month! Congrats!

well team, its april 11th and im heading out in the morning for regular season opener, the weather isnt looking to promising but i dont care, ill keep you all posted on whats going on!!!!

Well Fellas, small update.

I am letting each of you down on my team. My season opened a week ago today and I have broken my ankle my senior year of baseball so I am done. I will not be able to turkey hunt this year and with I could have had the opportunity to get a bird for us.

Don't know if anyone even looks at this anymore.

Surgery Wednesday, say a prayer for me please. Thank-you!
