In Jersey we have a muzzleloader season and a shotgun season so i'll say my favorite for both (no standard rifles are allowed for hunting)My favorite muzzleloader for deer is my T/C encore 50 cal. with the luepold VII scope loaded with 100gr. of american poineer powder and a 245 gr. power belt hollow point bullet. For shotgun season i use my870 20 ga.express magnum with a three inch slugthrough a hasting rifled slug barrel (open sights).

Forwater fowl, small game, andturkey I use a 870 12ga. express super magnum
