This aint the best song of all time but i saw one of my old teachers at the gym the other day and she said this song has to be about me. I used to either sleep, walk the hallways, text message people, skip school to do things with girls in my truck in the school parking lot, or study ballistic tables for my rifles. The song is Just Got My Report Card by Soulja Boy.

"Civil War" and "Stairway To Heaven" are both pretty amazing. Im a big fan of song slike "Free Bird", "Hotel California" and"November Rain" too.

I love rock music but the real heartbreakers are the country songs. Like "Austin", "The Little Girl" and "The Love Song".

Thats debatable...agreed, there are some sad country songs...but they are usually simpler in their lyrics. There are some Dylan tunes, and White Stripes stuff, and Neil Young too that have some intricate writing behind the lyrics, and that really gets me....listen to those Dylan tunes I listed, and they will destroy you.

Ive heard my fair share of Dylan, and its good, just not to much my style.

yeah, he has a tough style for a lot of people to like....but most everyone can agree that he is an incredible writer....

i guess i mostly like songs whose writing i can really admire...and yes, writing does include the music, not just lyrics.

Agreed, i have to admit that knocking on heavens door is amazing, but Guns N' Roses did the best version of it.
