Yeah its the Official Uniform of the Civil Air Patrol. Thank god i don't have to spend money on the dress uniform. Civil Air Ptarol wears the same dress uni as the Air Force.

Civil Air Patrol is actually pretty cool. Not only do they have PT which helps me get in shape for the military but its fun to work with the cadets. Its nice to have a place where i can talk about my love of Military equipment and aviation. And we get access into the Columbus and Cleveland Airshows, we get to work security duty. And we get to play in simulators and such.:D

i got to fly in a simulator at an airforce in Dover! that thing is intense! (my uncle was in the airforce and great friends with the man who runs it). if i ever join a branch of the military it would be the air force and the A-10 worthog would be the one i would want! (its what i flew in the sim.) it was intense to say the least!

Well it might be hard to become a pilot with the A-10 unless you join the reserves. The A-10 is being phased out of the active duty role now that the F-35 Lightning II has finally been delivered to the airforce. But the A-10 is a beast and would love to fly that ugly masterpiece of a ground support aircraft. I'm seriously looking more into the Aerial Gunner Position in the Air Force so i can work on an AC-130 Gunship or hang out of the helicopter with the M60,M243, or Mini Gun and lay down suppressive fire.

my uncle flew the AC-130 for a while, along with the C-5 and acouple others. he served 28 years flying for the airforce. he was the first plane to land during desert storm, (before they had even bulit runways, cause his plane had the materials needed to build the runways)

C-5 is beastly. You think that thing is big, look up the Russian built AN-224

any way! i am reusing this thread to yell at ya! (not wanting to start a new thread that will just get hijacked anyway!) you know im geting shocked trying to stay on the internet, you say your bored so i tyr and stay on here a bit longer than normal and still getting shocked and you leave! ouch my friend that hurt!
