Wis Rifle Hunter i got a 338 for you to shoot. Well its my boss gun but its got some nasty recoil. 338-378 Weatherby in a light weight rifle. Im trying ot talk him into letting me have it since he dosnt shoot it since he got his 300 Weatherby.

my dad's doesnt kick at all, but it does have a hair trigger. So you dont want to wear heavy or big gloves.

What dose your dad have? A 338 Win Mag dosnt kick that much and a 338-06 kicks about the same as a 30-06.

Ohh ok. Yea thats got about the same recoil as a 300 Win Mag or 300 WSM. A 338-378 Weatherby Mag has about the recoil of a 375 H&H or a 416 Rigby(I dont know for sure if its the same as them but it has alot of recoil alot more then my lightweight 300 WSM).
