Hunting on Public Land CO
 

I just got back colarodo mule deer buck hunting and i also had a cow tag. everyone in my group and i were hunting on public land and where i was mainley hunting butted up too private land and i saw a
3 by 3 that came whitn 20 yards of me but never came onto public landand then i saw a monster also on private land i was just wondering if anyone else has hunted on private land up there and there experince.

I hunt on private land! so i have never had that problem before! in fact our family is really close with all the neighbors around us and they all told us if we see a deer on there property from our stands to shoot them!!!!! sorry for your bum luck!!! at least you saw some though!!!!!!

all i ever hunt is public im not fourtunate enough to hunt private but i have done good where im at so im not complaining. i see elk where i hunt on private all the time but as soon as one makes a mistake BOOM!

We hunt public land exclusively. But Michigan has a LOT of public land. We've had to miss this season though, but for a good cause. :)

I hunt public land for dove, squirrel, rabbit, pheasant and semi-public land for goose. You have to enter a lottery to get a blind at our resevoir. I will be hunting private land for Deer, my neighbor has a cousin with land that is a deer magnet.
