IN minnesota they droped the poundge down to 30 lbs to bowhunt:)

you have to have 30 poundage to bow hunt in minnesota?

If thats the case then my dad's friends cant go bear hunting up there.

becuse 2 of them will have bows and 1 of theres is set at 75 and the other at 55

It is a step to get more women and kids into bow hunting. They also adopted an apprentice hunting license this year. You do not need a firearms safety to hunt you can spent the $3 and you have to hunt with a certified hunter.

Michigan just adopted that apprentice program and lowered the minimum age to 10.

Michigan also has no minimum draw weight.

I hope people who teach kids to hunt will also emphasize shot placement.
