this will be my first bowi was wondering.. what yall reccomend for a bow.... i plan to use it for competition.. if i get good.......and to hunt with

dude why would you use a gun during bow hunting, thats weak, i use a missile launcher, its much more effective.

Wow ban that guy(s) already! But back on topic, I suggest the Bowtech/Diamond line. I dont know if you shoot a youth or womens bow, but whatever you do pick they make something for you. I suggest you check it out, you never know. Most importantly, shoot as many bows as you can dfferent people like different things.

To get this post back on track I will say what I have said many a time....
I recomend going to the pro-shop and picking out 3-4 bows you like. Seeing if your comforatable with the draw lenght, poundage, feel of the bow, etc. Then pick your poison. You cant go wrong doing this. I ended up with a Bowtech Commander but what works for me doesnt work for everyone. Good Luck getting a new bow and have fun:D |

fred bear oddsy 2 is good 18-29 draw leangth with a draw weith of 30-40

well yall.... i went to the archery shop........ and i decided on a mathews ignition... its a youth bow i believe.. lol.... but anyways... oh gawd its so addictive.. i didnt realize shootin something can be addictive...... i thought shootin guns was fun... but heck.... im wowedby shootin a bow...... lol... i love it!.. anyways.... umm ya.. thanks yall, for the suggestions.. i appreciate it... :D

Hey that's great that you got your bow Coongal. It really is a blast isns't it?
I don't know if I'll be able to get out this fall or not. I'm hoping I can. I have a whisker biscuit on my bow now and I've been practicing with the bow tilted so you know what isn't in the way. :) You are going to have so much fun you won't believe it. I hope you can find time to get away from school and hunt. |
