Questions for young hunters...
 

How old were you when:

1. you got your first bb gun?

2. started shooting firearms regularly?

3. first went small game hunting?

4. first went deer hunting?

5. sat in a hunting blind by yourself?

I know each set of parents raises their kids differently, and different kids have different maturity levels at any given age. I'm just thinking about the decisions I'll have to make about my boys as they grow up (they're just 2 and 5 yrs right now.)

3. don't rele have small game where i live but i would shoot lizards since i was 8

Great question... Deffinately depends on maturity.

1. you got your first bb gun? 6, could only use it when with dad though.

2. started shooting firearms regularly? 7

3. first went small game hunting? 8

4. first went deer hunting? 6 with dad,9 with a weapon

5. sat in a hunting blind by yourself? 10

1. My parents had BB gun before I was born so I start shooting it around 7, maybe 6

2. About the time i started shooting the BB gun

3. I went with my dad alot when i was younger so i'd say around 5-6

4. Hmmm, i'd say about 11. I didn't carry an gun, just went withdad and my grandpa

5. Honestly, never been in an blind

2. 4 .22 cal. chipmunk rifle shot with the asistance of my dad, i also startedshooting my bow regularly in 3-D competitions

4. i shot a boar when i was seven with my bow and i took my first deer when i was 8

Started deer hunting before i went for small game.
12 didnt have anyone in my family interested in hunnting

3. first went small game hunting? 7ish with dad

4. first went deer hunting? about 8, by myself 16, this year, its the legal age in NY

5. sat in a hunting blind by yourself? 15
