I would strongly sugjest not getting a ps3 right now. There brand new. Just came out over seas today and theres already problems with the Ps3 not playing PS1 and 2 games. I really want one. But I would sugjest waiting atleast a year. 1. Most of the bugs will be fixed. 2 Possibally a little cheaper.

Considering a blu-ray player is $1000 and a PS3 (which plays blu-ray) is what, $500? It's actually a pretty good buy. Still out of my price range, though. And you need a HD TV to take advantage of blu-ray, wich I can't afford either.:(

lol I hear ya on the HDTV. But.Bluray not only has awsome picture quality.Itcan hold more on the CD.
More room=More game.

Ps3, way to expensive and it will probably have something wrong with it like most systems so if you do get it i would wait until they fix any flaws. The prices for game systems are just ridiculous, when will they stop.
