That wouldn't be hunting to me.

I push the envelope by taking a book and reading it on stand. However, I hunt all day everytime I head to the woods. After the first six hours you need something to occupy your mind.

Listening to music while on stand will never be something I do though.
I was thinking ya it would be cool but, once you said that you right.

If something else has my attention,then I won't be able to see the deer come in range, no I would not get an iPod in my treestand, especially if I were "spot and stalk" hunting. Besides, I don't go hunting to listen to music, I do that at home.

come to think of it, it's a lot better to just listen to the woods instead of listening to music to pass time. But, I still bring my ipod in my pack so that I have something to keep me occupied after shooting a deer and waiting on it to expire before I start tracking.

I like music and am always listening to it exept hunting. Theres been times i thought about having music out there. I did bring CD player one time but didnt like it while I was out there. Im the type that likes to hear aswell while im out there. And I caught myself kinda loosing focus while listening to my music.

yea its a good i dea for some that can't sit still but i am the most hyper person you could meet theres just something about the woods that just makes me relax and want to sit and think

other than the woods its jusy hockey and motocross that can slow me down

Hunting is extremly personel so if thats wut i wanna do and thats something you love like hunting then i say go for it. Like i said its very personal not one person hunts exactly the same. I dont do it but who am i to say that you shouldnt.
