RE: Pics of you rides
restoring a 1971 buick skylark, 350 with 4bbl carb. Upgrades are Poston s-divider aluminum intake, Hei ignition, 1 3/4 x3" Hooker Headers, Dual 2 1/2" exhaust with 40 series flowmasters. Eaton series 3 limited slip rear end with factory option 3.08 gears. Upgraded to bucket seats, the original bench seat sucked. Horse power is around 320hp And 380 ft lbs torque. Im looking at 370hp Once i put in a new cam and set up the timing. Transmission will be upgraded with a TCI 2800rpm stall torque coverter, Transgo stage 2 shift kit. After that, its time for paint. the color will be 1970 buick GSX "Apollo white" With GSX stripe package on the hood.

#2 IT DOES NOT HAVE PISTONS! (Rotary Engines are better)
Actually the rotary engine is a real heap. They burn oil from the factory and have to be rebuilt every 80,000 miles. The turbo rotarys have to be rebuilt every 60k. They have no power band at all. I belive the new rx8 with the rotary makes 280hp @ 9000rpm. It also has huge computer problems that operate the fuel injection system. But the 80s and 90s rx7's were not better than Piston motors. Do some reading on the net and you will come across a lot of forums about their problems with the rotary engine.
