I cant go on here at school anymore because they have a new system that blocks some pages. This is listed under the forums and weapons and violence category so it wont let me on. Anyone else have something like that at school?

I think its little silly that hunting is under that catorgy but i suppose the school boards are doing all that they can to prevent more violence at school, including topics that are ''related'' [:o]

ya my school does.....(sigh) the worst part is wen it blocks it it sends a message to the princable of the sight and wat it is ekkkkkkkkk!!!

there is a program here that blocks some websites.... but i dont block this one.... that's messed up that they do block it [:@] losers...

I only do research for classes on the internet at school, so I don't know if this site is blocked. But I don't see why it should be.

I am lucky this is one of the sites I can get on at school, most of the gun and knife web sites are blocked. Our school is really selective on what people get on.

Our blocking software is like the Nazi of all blocking programs. We can't even access the Associated Press website because its blocked under Portals. No blogs, nothing with the words funny or humor in it, i did an english report on Medieval Weapons and had to do all my research at home because it wouldn't allow me to look at anything about weapons, in fact we can't even use Google images!!

This year they got some new program which notifies the principal or whoever if you use a site that allows you to access a blocked site. If we get caught, no computer for 2 weeks

This pretty muchhit the nail on the head. Not only do I not want anyone to get in trouble at school, but people who aren't mods would be suprised on how many PMs we get from parents claiming their son/daughter got ideas from this place. I delete links for everyone's best interests :)

I'd say the reason they block them is because of the forum and chat thing. They don't want kids talking to rapists and meeting up with them I guess. My school blocks lots of websites, but this year it was weird and wouldn't block any site for more than a day. They finally got tired of blocking websites everyday and by the end of the year we could get on youtube :)
