I have a small one on my left upper arm , it isn't hunting related but just reminds me of a special time in my life . It looks nearly as good as the day I got it , HG89 was right about small ones . I got it 25 years ago , and I've given thought to getting another one ever since but never did .

Think long and hard about what you want and visit as many tatoo shops as you can to see what kind of work they do . A bad tat will haunt you for a long time , and nothing will completely erase it except another tat . You'll have to live with the result for a very long time . If you decide to get one don't show up at theshop liquored up thinking that it will dull the pain , it won't , and a reputable artist will not tatoo someone who's high on anything . Once the tat has been applied follow the care instructions to the letter . Expect scabbing , and keep it clean and covered until it fully heals(about two weeks) . Don't scratch it , even if it itches , that can make the ink spread . If an infection develops get it taken care of immediately .

if you do get one listen to what kevin1 said and follow the treatment proceedure that the tatto artist tells you to a T!! if not it wolnt look as good. i know..a friendof mine got one and hejust let it goand it lookslike **** now. use coco butter or hd ointment and never let it dry out for the first month or so and also dont let sun hit it fora month because it like a baby's skin right after you get it, and it will burn extremly easily. mine did a little and i only had sun hit if for 20 minutes.
