beginer needing some advice
 
ok, so i am starting out i have a bow and a summit climber treestand. i will hunt from it in the fall. What tag should i get a doe or a buck. i want a first deer and i have found several does and a single 8 point buck that play around on our 4 acres of land. plese reply

well if you can get both tags and do pre-season scouting look for heavily used runways acorns(if you get them) bedding areas(usually tall grass or really thick woods) and look for feeding areas they eat: grass acorns corn soy beans alf alfa... you get the idea but look for all that stuff and put your stand some where on the edge of a feild or on a runway between food and bedding

I think u are the only one that can answer that question, maybe talk to ur dad and ask him but yea its pretty much just up to u

What tag should you get? That is not our decision? If your only planning on shooting one deer then you should scout ahead (you should scout anyway) and see if you really think you can get that buck, if not just buy a doe tag.

is 4 acres enough to hunt? legally i mean?
