Open Squirrel Hunting Contest (ANY TYPE!)

You can shoot any type of squirrel you want, you can show off pics if you like, shoot as many as you possibily can! Sorry, you're on your own (no teams unless demanded).

Hey guys, calm down. He can have a 300 IBO if he is pulling 42#. IBO has nothing to do with draw weight. It is the speed of the arrow with a bow set at 70#, 30" draw, while shooting a 350 grain arrow.

He would have an IBO of 300 fps if he was pulling 20 pounds or 200 pounds. Draw weight has nothing to do with IBO, excluding the fact that IBO is attainedusing abow with a70 pound draw weight.

You can't shoot over 6 squirrels here. It's not a true hunter to shoot a much as he can. It's not right

thats kinda tru (what whitetailblaster said).i don't know a whole lot about how compound bows work more than how to shoot them and maybe a little more(even though i hunt with one).any ways i do know u get the aroow to go faster by setting the draw wieght higher.its force that drives the arrows and the arrow(how fast it goes)determines then speed,so i don't think u can get 300 with 42 soo sorry but i agree with the rest of the guys

Read my above post on IBO.

IBO is not a measurement of how fast he is currently shooting, it is a measurement of how fast his bow could shoot if it had a 30" draw length, 70 pound draw weight, and a 350 grain arrow.

If his bow was set up like the above mentioned, he would be shooting 300 fps.

Once again, IBO is NOT a measurement of the speed of his arrows. It is a "formula" used to measure the speed of a 350 grain arrow that is shot out of a bow with a 30" draw length set at 70 pounds.
