I was around 8 when i first started. when dad gave me my shotgun mom had a royal fit.

I started sometime before age 5. I don't remember what age I actually started going with but I know it was before 5. I still remember going deer hunting with my dad and sitting up in the stand with my 20 lb youth bow with the extremely dull practice points and actually thinking that I was going to be able to get a deer.

6 months old. My dad carried me around in a backpackand we scouted for deer. Obviously I dont remember it, but the pictures dont lie.

I remember my dad carrying me around in the elk woods when I was really young, probably right around 5 years old. I remember the elk bugling, that is something you will never forget. Then, this year, he was at my side as I got my first elk, first big game with a muzzle loader, and it came during the rut. Nothing better!!:D

i was 12 when i went on my first hunt with dad. i went along with my 20 guage but didnt get any shooting in. dad shot a 9 pt buck running through and a coyote 15 minutes later running through 17 now and ive shot 2 bucks and a doe in last 3 years
