HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ineed some expert advise, im looking at buying either the Browning A Bolt medallion 30-06, or the 270 im only going to be using the gun for deer or hog hunting.Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Both are plenty of gun for the biggest deer and hogs. A .270 uses the same case as the 30-06...just necked down. The only case I see for one being better than the other is if you think you may go to bigger game later on. In that case you can get heavier bullets for the 30-06.

For stricty deer and hogs, nothing beats the .270. That is my favorite gun. I have a Winchester .270 A-Bolt and my father has a Browning A-Bolt in 7mm mag so its the best of both worlds. Just be ready for the kickback in either gun! Good luck.

i like the ol 30-06. its got plenty of power and you can shoot through brush and not get nocked off course.

Well the expert in my house is my Dad and he says He swears by The 270. He's got 10 whitetail with it and 2 black bear.
