Well first morning of the season and i went for a lil walk like 2hrs ish down this nice set of slashes ( ive gott 2 deer and my dads gott 1 deer outta it) well im walking almost at the end then i hear some noise so i look over this little bank and not 15 feet away is this bear it turns and woofs at me so i quickley pop the safety off and nail it right in the headit falls and i give it another in the head jsut to be 100% sure its dead weighed bout 200 pounds and its a black bear

congrats i'm hoping to get my first bear this year. hopefully i'll be going up to north carolina. what'ld you shoot it with????

nice job man! i see black bears down here in florida all the time on my lease but we dont have a season yet, but anyway... what gun you shoot it with?

Congrats on the bear man... My friend missed one last night... 50 yards broadside... he said he tried to hit it in the head but I dont know.... Congrats again.

Why didn't you get the camera before you skinned/ate it, or did you clean it at the sight?

At 15 feet away i wouldve done the axact same thing. maybe 3 times in the head due to my afraidness of animals with teeth.
