The king of smack is back
 

Im so pumped up. 11 more days and the landowner of the farm I hunt in Carrollton got the buck im after on trail cam. I nicknamed him "Skyscraper" because hes so tall. I hadnt saw him since July when he was a clean narrow 8. The old dude I lease from has a digital cam he sets on his homemade feeder that he fills with Purina Antler max during the summer and shelled corn in the really cold months. He just e-mailed it to me today and told me hes taking the feeder down so the deer get back on the old route to the alfalfa field that I have one of my stands on. Any way here he is and also some of my other cheapo Stealth pictures from July.

I really disagree with feeding deer corn in cold winter months unless they're eating it still in the fields and have been all fall and winter. Corn is too rich for their bodies at this point in time and they might not be used to the higher levels of acid in the corn, which could kill them.

omg u guys please read. I said he has Purina Antler Max in it during the summer and shelled corn in Dec. - Feb. Antler max has hardly any fat, its mainly protein and nutrients that are in beans.

switch the feeds around in the spring sumer/fall they feed on leaves grasses etc theyll get sick form eating just corn inthe winter
