I havent been down to our club yet this year (hopefully will this sunday), but one of our guys saw 8 different bucks in the corner of a field within 200 yards of where I hunt, 3 of which he said were definite shooters. I already pretty much know where I'm going to put all my stands from last year and some very educated guesses about whats going to happen this year. Our opening day is Sept. 10, the same day as homecoming, but I'm gonna hunt that morning then come home to go to the dance (unless something changes before then) I'll be hunting some low-hunter-densitypublic land after school too, so I've got a good feeling about this year
