Because he's that good. Honestly, if it was only a two driver race. Jeff Gordon and Junior. Would you pick Jr? I know I sure as heck wouldn't.

Ice: Kevin Hartwick is a local boy for us. I met him several times (was working security for him when he was at the racetrack signing autographs). He is a really a jerk but that is just my opinion of course.

No hes a jerk all the time. He made a jerk move on Biffle just last week.
