Hey guys I know this dosent sound all that interesting but I was just picked to be on the Coosa county 4-H Forestry Judging team! We are going to the state contest Monday and if we win at the state we will go on to Nationals in west Virginia. This is awesome! Do any of yall do 4-H? I do forestry and wildlife. Well I just thought that I'd let yall know and congrats to redhawk for the moderator position.

Im in 4-H...Im in Livestock and Showman ship i go upstate every year to show cattle...ive been in 4-H all my life i love it

Congratulations! That is really great and I know you must be real happy!
I'm in 4H too-Shooting sports to be exact. We have our State competition this coming Friday and Saturday, then whoever places the best in those, is off to Nationals.
I'm really excited and hope I can somehow make it to Nationals. :) I also made it to the #1 team so that is excited to me too...well good luck to you and be sure to let us know how you do. :)

congrats..how do you guys judge the forest? standing timber or cut logs? what types of trees? sounds neat. i guess im kinda inquisitive because our family biz is lumber and logging,so i kinda understand the forestry stuff.
