RE: Cracked corn for a spinning feeder ?
Milo same as Maize. Small round reddish seeds about the size of #2 lead shot or so appx. The wildlife IE birds also love it.
BTW don't use it if you are bowhunting. It attracts all the birds and those things have eyes out for a hawks and such. Try to draw a bow on a deer and the birds see you move and "flush" Doesn't help the deer situation much in those instances. Jeff |
RE: Cracked corn for a spinning feeder ?
milo = sorghum
maize = corn since milo is small and round (and corn is flat), i would think alot of it would fall out the hole of the feeder. |
RE: Cracked corn for a spinning feeder ?
They should have milo or should be able to get it.

RE: Cracked corn for a spinning feeder ?
I've used both cracked corn and whole corn with no problems. I've also added "wildlife" pellets to add a little more nutrition for the deer. Occasionally, I will add some liquid mollasses (Wildgame Innovations) to my corn when stocking up the feeder. I haven't had any kind of clogging or foul ups.
