Default QDMA certification.

Is there such a thing as QDMA certification, as for planting crops for deer and other wildlife, if so what could I do to get certified,so that I can lay out the plans and implement them as well. Thanks for any help.....

The easy way to do it is.
If you see a doe on your land kill it.
If any body you know sees a doe on your land have them kill it.
If any body what so ever sees a doe any where near your land make sure they kill it.
There you have it pretty simple hugh![:'(]

Jim, that may work where you are from, but in my neck of the woods if we did that we would severly overharvest our deer. We take a few, but we will not overharvest! We would like for the herd to stay about where it is now, and the game department in VA is managing for population stabilization in western VA. Each person must assess their own plans, goals, and future of their hunting grounds.

A quality doe is a dead doe. This time of year it is easy to tell the does from the bucks.
The does are waiting buy the road to chew the grill out of our wifes new S.U.V.
The bucks are behind wal mart eating ouy of the dumpster.
Does are eating the oak saplings.
Bucks are eating the rag weed stubble out of the picked corn field , that those bastard does feed on all fall.
Take your time and study them you can pick the evil ones at a glance[:'(]

None of these replys have answered RonM's question. I'm not aware of any certification, other than becoming a biologist. A great reference is Neil Dougherty's book Grow 'Em Right (see link)

Certification does not make you a good QDMA person. It just gives you a name. One step may be is to get certified for the handling of herbicides and insecticides. Learn all you can about QDMA and practice it.
Drs. lawyers, etc. all have their "shingles" but does that make them that good in their profession? Learn all you can and then practice it. If you are good at it, people will be looking you up.
