Default American Joint Vetch

Has anyone ever planted this ? If I try it I'll be planting on sandy hillside soil in southeast Mississippi. Do deer like it ?

Jointvetch is a reseeding legume that will grow on sites that are too wet to support most other food plot items. Plant at a rate of 10-20 lbs./acre on a well-prepared seedbed. Fertilize at a rate of 2-300 lbs./acre of 0-10-20, and soil should be limed if Ph is 5.0 or lower. Well-established plots produce quality grazing from June-November in warmer climates.
